After establishing the Johor Motorsports Racing Team in 2019, Prince Jefri Ibrahim has built a reputation as a driver who can balance consistency with precision and speed. In his debut year he claimed a class win and four class podiums on his way to fourth in the GT World Challenge Asia Pro-Am championship and scored a race victory and three podiums in the Thailand Super Series.
After charging to the runner-up position in GTWC Australia Pro-Am championship in 2021 (including a memorable first race win at The Bend alongside pro driver Nick Foster), Prince Jefri Ibrahim’s stocks skyrocketed in 2022. That year he became a Red Bull-sponsored athlete, and started his season strongly by winning the opening round of the GWTC Asia Pro-Am series at his home track at Sepang.
He would go on to win the 2022 GTWC Asia Pro-Am driver’s championship and the GT Endurance Championship Pro-Am Australia, and played a pivotal role in JMR claiming the GTWC Asia Pro-Am team’s championship.
Over 2023 and 2024 he’d podium twice at the Bathurst 12-hour, achieve three podiums at the GTWC Australia Pro-Am championship and finish runner-up in the GT Teams Asia Le Mans Championship.
